Last month we got to visit Maryland again. Summer was the last season I needed to add to my list since I've been taking on shoots in Maryland. This means, it's been almost a year of shooting and traveling, and it's been amazing! I've found great locations, different colors, light, and last but not least, I've met some pretty amazing people. Samantha & Eric were such a pleasure to photograph, mostyl because they had such a blast! Perfectly coordinated outfits, lots of patience, and lots of laughs made my job so much easier. They also brought their baby "Penny", the cutest little pup I've ever met. One thing that is tricky when you'r not super familiar with an area is finding a good location. We went back and forth about locations, and finally Samantha suggested the Jerusalem Mill. Even though it's hard for me to give that kind of control to someone else, I'm is glad I trusted her on this. That place is awesome! There's so much variety in backdrops, from a stream to historic barn buildings, to a beautiful field, that made it possible to take almost every shot with a sun flare in the background over a span of 2 hours! It honestly doesn't get better than that. Sam and Eric are getting married next year in June, and I already know, that wedding will be fun! Can't wait!
